Denny Prussian is an Australian actor, singer, songwriter and writer based in the Northern Rivers of New South Wales.
With experience across screen, live performance, music, English and Drama education, Denny brings a broad background in performance, character and storytelling to his current acting work.
Alongside acting, Denny continues to write and release original music, including his 30-song project, Deja Vu – The Hip Hopera.

Denny Prussian continues to write and release original music, drawing on decades of performance, songwriting and storytelling.
His current work includes Deja Vu – The Hip Hopera, an ambitious 30-song project built around interconnected songs and stories, alongside a growing catalogue of original releases through Darkan Music.
Denny’s songwriting moves across genres rather than staying in one musical lane, with lyrics and storytelling remaining at the centre of his work.
FROM AUSTRALIA TO BOURBON STREET
Denny Prussian’s life in music began in the 1980s, performing as a singer across a range of bands and live projects.
As part of the duo Two Men and a Piano, Denny performed internationally, travelling to Japan and the United States via Los Angeles before making his way to New Orleans. The journey led to three years performing on Bourbon Street, immersed in one of the world’s best-known live music districts.
Back in Australia, Denny became part of the Byron Bay music scene with Hi Home I’m Honey from 1994 to 1996, followed by Los Duos Amigos from 1996 to 2007.
Those decades of performing, writing and working with audiences continue to shape the music and stories he creates today.
